Induction and Deduction

Logic lies in the domain of reasoning.

Induction describes a cause based on observed effects.

cause <- (induction) <- effect

Deduction describes an effect based on known cause.

cause -> (deduction) -> effect

Deduction and induction are not reciprocal, therefore independent.
