Before completing my degree in Sociology from the U of A, I floundered around in film colorization, animation, photographic processing, computer training sales, property leasing, mental healthcare and tutoring. After completing my degree I floundered around in graduate school, computer programming, visual art, and writing. Currently, I am floundering around in ceramics. Though I envy people who have had a well-defined and focused career arc, I really prefer to flounder.
